The best defense against weeds is a healthy dense turf. This is the objective behind our program which has been proven year after year. We have an 8 application program scientifically developed by a PhD agronomist for lawns in the southern region. Our weed control and fertilization program combined with adequate water and mowing will give you the best results for a GAME WINING SEASON!.
Fall Applications
Cool Season Pre-Emergent & Post-Emergent
Our PhD. developed program starts in September as we prepare your lawn for next spring by applying pre-emergents to insure winter grass weeds resist germination until treatment in the early spring. We will also apply post-emergents to control any broadleaf or grassy weeds. Although your lawn is dormant this time of year it is important to remember that the turf is still alive and requires water throughout the winter.
Fungicide Disease Control
Fungicides are pesticides that kill or prevent the growth of fungi and their spores. They can be used to control fungi that cause brown patch, dollar spots, rusts, mildews and blights. They also can be used to control mold and mildew. Fungicides work in a variety of ways, but most of them damage fungal cell membranes or interfere with energy production within fungal cells.
Cool Season Pre-Emergent & Post-Emergent
The key to a healthy lawn is start early! We prepare your lawn for next spring by applying pre-emergents to insure winter grass weeds resist germination until treatment in the early spring. We will also apply post-emergents to control any broadleaf or grassy weeds. Although your lawn is dormant this time of year it is important to remember that the turf is still alive and requires water throughout the Fall season.
Winter Applications
Winter Soil Conditioner and pH Balance
During winter we apply a slow-release granular winterizing conditioner to promote deep root development. We will conduct a pH balance application that corrects your soil composition and prevents the lawn from having spring dead spots.
Warm Season Pre-Emergent & Post-Emergent
We start in the Winter with a pre-emergent for weed control through the Summer season. We will also apply post-emergents to control any broadleaf or grassy weeds including dandelions, chickweeds, henbit, and clover.
Pesticide Grub and Bug Control
Pesticides are used to kill or prevent common lawn pest. Pest and insect control may occur immediately or over a period of time depending on the severity of the infestation. Oklahoma lawn pests may include Mole Crickets, White Grubs, European Chafers, Japanese Beetles, May and June Beetles. These pest feed on the grass root system killing the grass from underneath the turf. As a food source these pest also attract soil digging rodents such as gophers that dig and destroy established turf.
Spring Applications
Warm Season Pre-Emergent & Post-Emergent
We finish in the Spring with our last pre-emergent for lasting weed control through the summer season. We will also apply post-emergents to control any broadleaf or grassy weeds including dandelions, chickweeds, henbit, and clover.
High Nitrogen Fertilizer
To kick off the summer with the greenest lawn on the block we apply a high nitrogen fertilizer to promote a dark green and healthy lawn. We also treat for perennial weeds during this service. Watering and mowing your lawn consistently after this application is required for best results.
Insecticide Flea and Tick Control
A broad spectrum insecticide application that offers a quick knockdown of target pest to include Ticks, Fleas and Fire Ants as well as a long lasting residual. As an insecticide it may be used residential or commercial in lawns, parks, recreational areas and athletic fields. Pro-grade tick and flea treatment that won’t just kill adult tick and flea, but also tick and flea in other life stages so that you will regain control of your home and yard. This application with keep your pets and family safe from dangerous insects.
Summer Applications
Balanced Time Released Fertilizer
Our summer service includes another round of a balanced time-released fertilizer to encourage your lawn to stay lush green and thick during the heat of the summer. During our summer service we will also treat for weeds to ensure that your turf is not competing for nutrients or water. It is important that your lawn get frequent irrigation and mowing during this time of the year.
Slow Release Fertilizer
The fall kick off service is the last fertilization treatment for the growing season and we will begin to prepare your lawn for Winter conditions. We apply a slow-release fertilizer to promote deep root development that prevents the lawn from having spring dead spots. Weed control is applied for any perennial weeds as needed. Like the other fertilizer rounds it is important to properly irrigate your lawn after the service.
